    Generations of Memories

    The estate was built in 1920 and maintained as a 600-acre prize dairy farm. In 1980, Tim and Helene Guinee purchased the original estate house and 36 acres of surrounding land. In 1982, together with their 12 children, they planted the 1,300-tree orchard, which features a variety of apples, peaches, and pears. Named to reflect an Irish farming heritage, Connemara House has been open to the public for picking in the fall; for many, it has become a family tradition to spend a day relaxing in the peaceful setting, sipping freshly pressed cider, enjoying a picnic by the pond, and tossing the football around with friends. In an effort to keep the orchard a part of the family and community for future generations, six of Tim and Helene’s sons decided to expand their agritourism foot print with the establishment of Connemara House as a premier wedding and event venue. Committed to a farm-to-table philosophy, everything offered here is fresh, local, sustainable, and delicious!

    Enchanting Celebrations Under the Stars

    From May to October, our beautiful custom Sperry tent offers an elegant, inviting space to celebrate under the stars. Permanent decorative lighting provides a lovely ambience for your guests. Our concrete tent floor makes for a comfortable experience, along with dancing the night away on our wooden dance floor. The first floor of the mansion, with its beautifully carved millwork, hardwood floors, and multiple fireplaces, is available for wedding parties to get ready. The stunning attached three-season porch offers a bright and open space for the wedding party to enjoy cocktails, and relax while taking in the sweet fragrance of the outdoors.A most unique room is our intimate wood-paneled library, perfect for getting ready. Designed for entertaining, the main rooms of the mansion will provide the perfect backdrop to your unforgettable event.

    Meet the Team

    Our team of experienced coordinators is here to help manage all of your venue-related details during the 8 weeks leading up to your wedding. Your coordinator will create your day timeline for all venue details, will facilitate the final CHF/catering meeting to review your wedding day details during the final month, and will be there on site with you the entire day to help set up your decor and ensure everything runs smoothly. Our goal is for Connemara House couples to relax and enjoy their special day with their families and guests. You can rely on your coordinator to direct your vendors on-site, help your family and wedding party know where to be and when, to oversee your ceremony, and manage your reception and all related details so your event flows seamlessly. By the end of the wedding planning journey your coordinator just might be your new best friend!

I have more than 25 years of experience through which I have developed creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills that result in creating enjoyable and memorable events. By building strong relationships with clients, listening to them, and understanding their vision, I help my clients to let their tastes and personalities shine through on their big day. I help clients create personalized, distinctive events that leave a lasting impact. By spending time with clients, I answer their questions, but also educate them so they are comfortable making choices that are suitable for their event. Always willing to tackle a challenge, I love when a client says, “I have a crazy idea!” so that idea can blossom into a flawless execution.
